Simon the Cat's Healing Fund (OCARC)

Organized by Orange County Animal Rescue Coalition

Update on Simon!
Simon is no longer at the vet! He is currently being fostered with one of our volunteers while he continues to heal. He still has his cast on, but is doing very well. He is SUCH a loving kitty. Simon loves having his head scratched and will roll around to get attention. He must be kept in a single level cage, so he doesn't injure his leg again while it is healing. He is a very sweet boy and LOVES attention.

Help Us Help Simon!!
Meet Simon. Simon is an approximately 7-month-old neutered male, long-haired orange tabby. Corona Animal Shelter contacted our organization about rescuing this boy and taking care of the medical expenses to get him all fixed up! We cannot be sure how he broke his leg, but he was most likely hit by a car. Poor boy!

We made arrangements with Dr. Bart at the Animal Medical Center of Corona to have Simon's leg repaired. The total cost of Simon's surgery is $800. Simon is on his way to recovery, and we will be certain to find him a loving, forever home that will keep him safe!

You may also donate directly to the Animal Medical Center of Corona. Please be sure to let the staff know you are donating for Simon/OCARC.

The contact information is as follows:

Address: Dr. Bart, Animal Medical Center of Corona, 261 S. Lincoln Avenue, Corona, CA 92882
Phone: (951) 493-6771

All donations collected via this ChipIn page will go DIRECTLY to the medical expenses of SIMON. If we receive donations directly to the Animal Medical Center of Corona, we will make note of that on this page. THANK YOU!!
